Terms of service
Last updated: 15 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Arangan Group (“Artha”). By using the Artha app you agree to them.
1. What Artha does
Artha is a platform that connects devotees with independent, verified priests and arranges puja materials. Priests are independent service providers, not employees of Artha. Artha verifies priests' identity and credentials but the priest is responsible for performing the ritual.
2. Accounts
- You must be 18 or older and give accurate details.
- Keep your login secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- We may suspend accounts that break these terms or misuse the platform.
3. Bookings and pricing
- The price shown at checkout is the total you pay for the ritual (priest dakshina and Artha's service fee included). Samagri, if chosen, is shown separately.
- A booking is confirmed when the priest accepts it. If no priest accepts, you are not charged or you are refunded in full.
- The earliest bookable slot is 6 hours from the time you book.
- Please provide a safe, accessible place for the ritual and accurate address details.
4. Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds
- Cancel 72 hours or more before the ritual for a 90% refund. Between 72 and 24 hours before, the refund is 50%. Cancellation closes 24 hours before the ritual.
- Each booking can be rescheduled once, free of charge, up to 24 hours before the ritual.
- If the priest cancels or does not arrive, you receive a full refund or a free re-assignment.
- Refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–7 working days.
5. Priests
- Priests must complete verification and keep their details and availability current.
- Priests must honour accepted bookings, arrive on time, and behave respectfully in devotees' homes.
- Priest payouts are the booking amount less Artha's service fee, paid on the schedule shown in the priest app.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app, harass priests or devotees, arrange payments outside Artha to avoid fees, post false reviews, or attempt to access other users' data.
7. Religious content
Festival dates, muhurtams and ritual descriptions are provided in good faith from traditional sources. Practices vary by region and tradition; consult your priest for your family's custom.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Artha is not liable for indirect losses, or for the conduct of priests beyond our verification obligations. Our total liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid for it.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction.
